Weather Sensors Installation
Many of our customers are confused when installing weather stations. Let’s discuss some basic points which we must remember before installing weather stations.
1. Make sure your weather station doesn’t get too much interference from nearby buildings, trees, etc.
2. The thermometer should be shielded from sunlight by the design of the sensor.
3. The rain gauge needs to be clear of obstructions above it.
4. Wind sensors needs to be relatively clear of trees, buildings and so forth.
5. We suggest to mount all sensors on a mounting mast or on a pole with a minimum height of 3m (you can use guy wires to give more strength to your station). Height of mast depends on the location of installation.
6. Pyranometer installation looks easy but a small angle change during installation gives you wrong data.
